They are bringing meaningful change to the lives of Medicaid recipients and underserved communities in Minnesota through better, more integrated care coordination.
John Dahm - Chief Executive Officer
John's career is dedicated to strengthening community- and home-based care for Minnesotans. With more than two decades in nonprofit homecare leadership—including 14 years as CEO of Accra—he has seen firsthand how complex and confusing the care system can be for people and families.
John believes that meaningful change happens when organizations come together to improve equity, simplify navigation, and support people in directing their own care. What motivates him is simple: helping people live safely, independently, and with dignity at home.
David Hancox - Chief Administrative Officer
As CAO at Homesura, David draws on four decade of leadership in disability rights, independent living, and nonprofit service to help strengthen community-based care for Minnesotans who rely on Medicaid and other public programs. His work is rooted in the belief that people should direct their own lives and receive support that honors their dignity, culture, and independence.
Across his career — from leading the Metropolitan Center for Independent Living, to serving more than 10 years as Chief Administrative Officer at Accra, to consulting with disability organizations nationwide — he remains committed to advancing equitable, person-centered systems of support. He has served on more than 40 boards in the disability, social justice, and arts sectors and continue to advise organizations as a consultant, evaluator, speaker, and author.
LeAnn Frette - Chief Solutions Officer
LeAnn uses her background in financial systems, technology, and nonprofit operations to build coordinated, accessible, and people-centered solutions for Minnesotans who rely on Medicaid and home-based services. Her work focuses on simplifying complex processes, improving system navigation, and developing sustainable models that support independence and dignity. During nearly 20 years at Accra—including a decade as CFO and later as Chief Solutions Officer—she led the design and implementation of financial and operational systems that supported organizational growth and stability.
LeAnn is driven by a passion for reducing duplication, increasing clarity, and ensuring staff and partners have the tools they need to provide exceptional care.
Chad Derner - Chief Financial Officer
Chad's role as CFO focuses on building sustainable fiscal and operational systems that support Homesura’s mission: expanding access to coordinated, people-centered, home- and community-based services through strong nonprofit partnerships. He draws on more than 25 years of healthcare and financial leadership to build sustainable systems that support coordinated, person-centered care across Minnesota.
Chad's career spans payer and provider organizations, including leadership roles at Accra, Revo Health, and UnitedHealth Group. He has extensive experience in guiding technology-enabled healthcare operations, supporting organizational transformation, and designing financial structures that prioritize accountability and long-term impact.
Shelley Ryan - Chief Legal Officer
Shelley's focus is on practical, accessible legal guidance that helps Homesura and its partners operate with integrity, transparency, and a deep respect for the people and communities we serve. She draws on nearly two decades of experience advising nonprofits, municipalities, and community organizations to support a more coordinated, equitable, and person-centered care system in Minnesota.
She believes legal counsel should be practical, collaborative, and accessible. Her approach is centered on helping organizations understand their risks and responsibilities while empowering them to make mission-driven decisions that serve people fairly, equitably, and sustainably.
